6 Things 2016 Taught Me.
This year was one HELL of a ride.
However, I would never say it sucked.
I turned 25 this year and really thought I was having my "Quarter Life Crisis" which is totally a thing. This year was a lot of, I think I am grown, to nope I'm going to call my dad.
When I was younger I never thought being 25 would be so annoying.
It's like that awkward week between Christmas and New Years, you know you have to work and get stuff done, but you don't want to do it cuz theres still parties to attend too.
Yeah, Donald Trump is now President and A LOT of good celebs passed away, but none of that affected my life in a way to where I would say 2016 sucked.
I traveled to places I never thought I would make it to in a million years, like Japan and The Grand Cayman Islands, like I didn't even know that place existed to be completely honest. ( I know, calm down.)
I got to sleep in a brand new Hotel, first person to use everything. Like how many people can say that?
I took a big ass leap and quit my "desk job" to figure out what the hell I wanted to do. Which, I still have no idea on what that is. However, I am getting there.
I think all in all, 2016 was my year to finally start my life. I don't know where the hell I am going, but I like the fact that I know I am growing up and can do whatever I want.
Here's 6 things 2016 taught me:
1. WHO CARES/ NO ONE.
2. Travel More
3. The Money will come and go
4. Don't worry about everyone/ not everyone will like you
5. It's okay to let friends go
6. Always do you, always.
I am a firm believer on #6. It's you at the end of the day, no matter what. Always make your self happy, it's your life.
2016 is just the begging of my new life, I am excited to see where 2017 takes me!
Hopefully, 2016 taught you somethings as well!
