Hello!

Thanks for stopping by, grab a drink and stay for a bit!

Chichen Itza.

Chichen Itza.

Being able to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World was truly a blessing.

I never thought I would get to see this place with my own eyes, but here I was!

Standing below this Temple really felt like I was looking back in time, I could just picture people running around and their King standing above watching it all.

I was fascinated by the history of everything.

Like did you know that every 52 years, there was a new beginning. It was like their new life, everything had to change and hopefully it all changed for the better.

The columns in the photo below, were used as a marketplace to sell items such as

-Citronella Candles

- Sunscreen - which was made out of beeswax

- Tattoo Sticks- made from fish bones

This place even thousands of years later is still filled with life and energy.

Mayans are so proud of their culture and it really makes you appreciate that they felt it was important to keep these structures up.

I fully recommend putting this on your bucket list as well.

Also, my words don't do this place justice- so here are some photos:

P.s Buy the umbrella they try to sell you, you never know when it's going to down pour.
