Osaka, a must do if you are cruising through Kyoto, only a train ride away.
This is the Castle, that is one of Japan's most famous landmarks.
The central castle is five stories on the outside and eight stories on the inside, like what? How is that possible?
Either way, it's remarkable.
Inside they have a cute little museum explaining the history of the castle and ancient artifacts that were found there.
I spent most of my time people watching and eating green tea ice cream, it was well worth it.
I definitely recommend walking around here and snapping some photos.
It was about 600 yen to get in which is about $6.00 USD, so it was a no brainer to go in.
They have many shops and food places outside of the castle to make a day out of it. Which is where I got my Ice Cream. However, I don't recommend walking around with your food. Japanese view that as "sloppy", so just sit and enjoy the views.
This is a definitely move at your own pace place, so it could take you all day or just a few hours to move through.
My advice: Take a few hours and then go into town and find some food or another landmark. The Castle is right next to the train station so it's easy to maneuver.
